February Food Critics Social Dinner
Hello Fellow NTCOFers! Here is the NTCOF Food Critics' Info. for February and a teaser for March and April:
Palomino
The Crescent Atrium (inside the Crescent Court Hotel complex of shops)
500 Crescent Court, Suite 165
Dallas, TX 75201
Phone:(214) 999-1222
Date: Saturday, February 21st
Time: 5:30 PM
Food: European-inspired regional American cusine
Dress: smart casual
RSVP? : Yes. This month it is necessary. Deadline: Saturday the 14th at midnight
Please RSVP to woodelves116@yahoo.com
You will get an acknowledgement of your RSVP. If you don't get one in a reasonable amount of time, please follow up.
Other Important Information: We're meeting at 5:30 so that those who want to participate in what Palomino calls "First Seating" -- a 3 course meal for $25 -- may do so.
Parking: Park in the hotel garage and bring your ticket with you to the restaurant. They'll validate it so that your parking will be free for a less than 3 hour stay.
Thanks and we hope to see you there!
Brad and Ginger Watson
(upstanding freethinkers in a wacky world)
P.S. If you should need to contact Brad on the day of the event, his cell phone number is 817-917-8034.
P.S.S. For March we'll very likely be meeting for Thai food in the Southlake Town Square at a restaurant called Thai Chili.
For April we are thinking strongly about returning to Agave Azul in Carrollton. We had a blast there before and we're quite sure the top-notch margaritas had nothing to do with it.
P.S.S. NTCOF member Nilgun (from Turkey) suggested that the Food Critics get Turkish food sometime and recommended a restaurant called Kabob. Ginger and I couldn't find it online so if anyone knows more about this place, please let us know.
